There’s no better way to experience Australia’s iconic East Coast than by taking to the open road. The stretch between Brisbane and Sydney is one of the most scenic and adventure-packed routes in the country.
You’ll start your journey in Brisbane, where you can enjoy a couple of days in the laid-back capital of Queensland. You’ll kick-start the road portion of your adventure once you pick up your vehicle, where you can head up to the artsy Sunshine Coast or to Noosa for the Eumundi Market. You can visit iconic destinations like Rainbow Beach or Bundaberg before making your way down towards Sydney. Heading south along the coast, you can explore Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie, until your route eventually leads to bustling Sydney.
Travelling by campervan gives you the ultimate freedom to explore at your own pace. Whether you're a nature lover, a foodie or simply seeking a taste of the open road, this campervan trip promises a mix of adventure and relaxation—served with a good dose of Aussie spirit.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Brisbane
Upon arrival in Brisbane, collect your luggage and make your way to your hotel.
Explore the city at your leisure. Enjoy walking through busy Queen Street or the leafy riverfront City Botanical Gardens. Brisbane City Hall offers historic photos in the Museum and skyline views from its 1930s Clock Tower.
Spend an overnight in Mantra Brisbane Spring Hill or The Point Brisbane.
Day 2
Brisbane
Enjoy another day taking in the landmarks of Brisbane or book scenic day trips to the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast for some excellent surfing.
Spend an overnight at Mantra Brisbane Spring Hill or The Point Brisbane or similar.
Days 3 - 13
Explore Australia by Campervan
Today, you will make your way to the Campervan rental location to pick up your vehicle and check out of the hotel.
You will begin your cruising in a campervan today and will have the vehicle with you for the next 11 nights /12 days.
At the end of your journey, you will need to drop off the campervan in the Sydney area.
Enjoy your unforgettable journey on the open road!
Day 14
Sydney
Today, you will drop off the campervan vehicle by noon at the rental depot location in the Sydney area.
After dropping off the vehicle, check into your airport hotel and enjoy your last day exploring Sydney.
Spend an overnight at Novotel Sydney Airport, Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport or similar.
Day 15
Departure from Sydney
Make your way to the airport for your return flight to Canada.

The sequence of the itinerary may be altered for reasons beyond the supplier’s control, such as accommodation availability, weather, national events, strikes, etc.
Valid Driver’s License. Full license in English. If not in English, it must be accompanied by an International Drivers Permit issued from the same country as your license or be a Certified English Translation. Must be provided upon vehicle collection.
No off-road driving allowed, including unsealed/unformed roads, fields or paddocks
No driving on any beach, including Ninety Mile Beach, Ball Hut Road, Skippers Canyon Road (NZ)
No smoking allowed in the vehicle
No animals allowedTo ensure a smooth check-in experience, customers are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to check in online through Star RV or JUCY website one week prior to trip departure.Vehicle must be returned in the same condition you received it. A cleaning fee of up to $500 AUD for general cleaning and/or for greywater/toilet cleaning may apply.
If the vehicle is returned late, a full hire day applies for each day until the vehicle is returned and may be subject to a $500 penalty.
Customer(s) must provide a valid credit card in their name upon collection in case of any breach of the terms and conditions. If using a debit credit card, there will be a $300 security deposit taken.
Failure to return the vehicle full of petrol, diesel and LPG tanks (where applicable) will incur a $30 administration fee, plus the cost of fuel to refill.
