Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica is taking advantage of the low season to update some areas of the hotel.
The Orquidea buffet restaurant is closed for renovations and will reopen on or before November 15, 2024.
During its closure, buffet breakfast service will be available at Round Island Food Market, buffet lunch will be offered at Piscis Beach Restaurant. Buffet dinner will be available at Round Island Food Market and Piscis Beach Restaurant. A la carte restaurants will be available as usual PLUS the Takara a la carte restaurant located in Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay (for adults 18+).
As low occupancy permits, the rooms in the building where work takes place (above the Orquidea buffet restaurant) are not being used. Noise disturbance from this work is complete and not epxpected to cause any issues for in-house guests.
- Non-motorized water sports are available for free one hour per day, per guest - subject to availability and upon request.
- Some activities require a reservation and may be subject to a time limit
Renovations/enhancements will be taking place at the resort from February 1, 2023 through November 30, 2023. Details as follows:
- Garden Grill Restaurant: from February 1 - June 30, 2023. No services will be affected.
- Rooms in Buildings 17 & 18: from April 15 - November 30, 2023. No services will be affected.
- Buffet Restaurant Orquidea: from July 1 - November 30, 2023. Service will be offered at the NEW Garden Grill Restaurant
During the above-mentioned dates the affected areas will be closed. All work will take place every day of the week from Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Any work involving loud noise will start at 9am.
